until a letter from “a friend” appears in your hands. The letter says...

I hope this finds you in good will. It is so sad to see Umora in this state.
There is still one last hope to save this wretched world but I need your
help to enact my plan. Luckily time is on our side. Be discreet,

as a group of influencial political advisors, are not only failing to prevent conflict, but actively encouraging it. Among their ranks there one who seeks Chaos above all else, the Overseer.
Harnessing the mysterious and alien power of Wither magic, the Overseer kills the leader of the Order of Aegis, leaving the Order to brutally perish while he absconds with their ward, an
ancient artifact called a Somna Stone. Though the Order has fallen, it was not vanquished that day. A small band of surviving recruits, gifted another Somna Stone by their dying Elder Leader
